Employment Connections offers the Greater Bangor area mental health consumers supportive employment opportunities in the business community . Jobs are developed in order to meet the individual's interests, needs, and abilities. Employment Connections also contracts with several area businesses in providing custodial/maintenance services. Opportunities to work in providing these services may be available.

±Support in the form of job development

±Support by job coach

±Work site support (social interaction and problem solving)

 

±We help you find vocational interests and prepare resumes; compiling your work history and experience.

±We help you explore career options.

±We help you with job development.

±We help you with on/off job site coaching and support for as long as you feel you may need it.

± We help you work out the problems to obtain ideal employment as well as on the job support.

± We help you with referrals to Vocational Rehabilitation and Community Support Services.

± We look for innovative ways to help you with training and help you set a goal for life work.
