Together Place Peer Run Recovery Center
We offer a welcoming environment in which people living with mental health and/or substance use issues are empowered to make informed decisions about their own Recovery. There will be opportunities to engage in Intentional Peer Support with members and staff who have lived experience of MH/SA issues and are on their own chosen path of Recovery.
Starting in February 2018 we will begin to also offer educational and Recovery groups that support people in their own Recovery as well as vocational groups and individual support for people interested in joining the workforce. More specific information will be forthcoming as the time approaches. While we hope you will become a Together Place member, it is optional for people attending groups to become a member.
Need a break and just want to socialize or do something new? Members are offered lots of recreational activities such as pool, bowling, chess, crafts and more. We also have a very reasonably priced snack bar with coffee, soda, sandwiches and hot meals (EBT accepted!)
There is no cost for membership, however, you must be 18 or older to join.
Together Place hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (winter hours). Phone 207-941-2897.
We are located at 150 Union Street and our entrance is on Second Street.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
