Together Place Peer Run Recovery Center
We offer a welcoming environment in which people living with mental health and/or substance use issues are empowered to make informed decisions about their own Recovery. There will be opportunities to engage in Intentional Peer Support with members and staff who have lived experience of MH/SA issues and are on their own chosen path of Recovery.
We also offer educational and Recovery groups that support people in their own Recovery as well as vocational groups and individual support for people interested in joining the workforce. Click on the boxes on the right of this page for more details. While we hope you will become a Together Place member, it is optional for people attending groups to become a member.
Need a break and just want to socialize or do something new? Members are offered lots of recreational activities such as pool, Wii bowling, chess, crafts, and more. We also have a very reasonably priced snack bar with coffee, soda, sandwiches and hot breakfasts and lunches (EBT accepted!)
There is no cost for membership, however, you must be 18 or older to join.
Together Place hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. To speak with one of our CIPSS (Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialists) or to get more information about the programs here at Together Place, please call the Welcome Desk at 207-941-2897. For administrative or financial information, please call 207-941-2907.
We are located at 2 Second Street, Bangor
